At Galway Pet Services, the safety and well-being of all our guests are paramount. Kennels are not suited to every dog and we are not in business just to accept every dog that people want to drop off. To maintain a harmonious and sociable environment, we have implemented strict admission rules to ensure every dog enjoys a safe and positive experience.
We are dedicated to fostering a peaceful and playful atmosphere, and as such, we do not accept dogs that exhibit signs of excessive anxiety or aggression. Our kennel is designed for dogs who are comfortable in social settings and can interact amiably with other dogs.
Admission Requirements:
  1. Temperament Assessment: If you are concerned at all about your dogs suitability we suggest you have a trial day/night with us to have comfort that your dog will settle well. This evaluation helps us ensure that your dog is well-suited to our sociable environment.
  2. Behavior Standards: We do not accept dogs that show any signs of aggression, including but not limited to growling, snapping, or biting.
  3. Comfort in Social Settings: Each dog must be comfortable around other dogs and people. Our cage-free environment relies on positive interactions among all our guests.
  4. Health and Vaccination: All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and up to date flea and worming treatment. This helps prevent the spread of illnesses and ensures a healthy environment for all.
  5. Neutering: We require all male dogs to be neutered to avoid any issues related to mating behavior.

We understand the importance of a structured and well-organised environment for the comfort and well-being of our canine guests. To ensure a smooth and efficient operation, we have established strict pick-up and drop-off times.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Schedule:
  • Drop-Off Times:
    • Morning: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
    • Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Pick-Up Times:
    • Morning: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    • Afternoon: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
These designated times allow us to manage the arrivals and departures of our guests effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the dogs' daily routine and activities.
